Skin FAQ

How long does my hair need to be to get waxed?

Hair needs to be between 1/4 and 1/2 inch to be waxed, about the length of a grain of rice. This ensures the best results and maximum hair removal.

Does waxing hurt?

While we can't guarantee there won't be any discomfort, the quality of the wax used and the speed of the esthetician helps to make the service as comfortable as possible. If you have a low pain tolerance, you can take Tylenol or Motrin at least 30 minutes to 1 hour before your appointment.

Does the price of the bride's makeup include a trial?

No. A trial is separate from the cost of wedding day services. It is an opportunity for the artist and the client to create and modify their desired look for the Big Day.

Do I need to book a consultation prior to a facial?

No! Consultations are recommended if you are new to skincare services and/or looking to book advanced treatments, i.e. chemical peels, dermaplaning, etc.

Can I get chemical peels year round?

Chemical peels are only offered during the Fall and Winter. This is to help reduce the risk of damage to the skin from heat and sun. All clients must be consistently using a professional skincare routine for at least 3 to 4 weeks prior to beginning their peel series.

Is there a discount for more people in a wedding?

Unfortunately, we do not offer discounts because there is a larger party. Depending on the size of the party, and time allotted to perform services, an additional artist may be needed to accommodate the client's needs.
